It is not the serial number, but the serial number with a Q on the front.
It is a default account created on the box.  At least, I think it is just
the Q, as in QS1234567...

Can anyone tell me why I can only connect to our AS/400 by its IP
address and not he serial number? For example when I create a new
workstation device with client access it will not accept the serial
number only the IP address. I'm just curious because where in the past
at other jobs I could always use the serial number to connect.
