Considering that our tape speed increased dramatically when we upgraded our 7xx box to a 840 I can definitely see how a bigger CPU would be needed. Wasn't quite as big a difference, (in tape speed), when we went to the 570, but then again the 8xx box could actually drive that tape drive at near rated speed. Rob Berendt
