When fax/400 first came out IBM did not support the placing of 
identification, such as phone number, that commonly appears at the top of 
every fax (TSI banner), if you used the modem.  It was supported on the 
IFA and other obsoleted equipment.  Got the working as designed run 
around.  I sent them a copy of a law saying that it was illegal to send a 
fax that did not contain this information.  They got it done pronto after 
that.
