PICNIC .... I like that one. Thanks John. Perhaps I missed it but I don't recall that anyone mentioned Save While Active as a possible solution. Try it one night and review the job log. On my system there is only one Data Area that does not get saved and I don't care. It is recreated if it does not exist. Perhaps you'll get lucky too. Greg
