If your client access is setup to use DNS, it should not be a big
problem. If the client access setup says something like glensas400 or
glensas400.theplaceglenworks.com then you just need to talk to the DNS
people and have them change the A record to point to the new IP address.
If it is setup to point to an IP you are going to have to change it on
every machine (Sorry I cannot help you with automating that) but when
you do change it, I recommend you change it to a domain name so this is
not a problem in the future.

Subject: Changine I/P Address on iSeres

Our network people are going through the process of redoing the entire
network which includes new I/P addresses. Our problem is going to be
when the iSeries I/P addresses change and we have to change all the PCs
using Client Access (or iSeries Access).

Is there a way to write a script that would change the names and I/P
address for Navigator and the 5250 display sessions? If so, could
someone help me on this.

TIA
