I was just trying to figure out how best to 
programmatically generate an ASCII file in the IFS, for 
use by QtmmSendMail, from RPG, and I decided that before I 
started begging the List for help, I ought to see if there 
was anything already out there that would answer my 
question. So I did a GOOGLE search for "ifs stmf ascii 
rpg," or some such, and sure enough, I found something.

A whole e-book on the subject of accessing the IFS from 
RPG. And by none other than the one who was already the 
most helpful in sorting out the QtmmSendMail API itself, 
and the SMTP server, our own Scott Klement!

Thanks. Yet again, you just made this whole project a lot 
easier.
