In fact, applying group PTFs is generally a good time to do an IPL. I don't understand this. I just went to Fix Central and downloaded group PTFs for two products which I have not yet installed (WAS Express 5.1 and WAS 6.0). Portal is on the list; I can't see why you can't do the same. Joe
