Elvis,

That'll work, but I was hoping for something a little more elegant.

Subject: RE: Anyone have a *BNDDIR library replacement utility?

How about doing it in CL:

DSPBNDDIR OUTPUT(*FILE)
RMVBNDDIRE
ADDBNDDIRE

Subject: Anyone have a *BNDDIR library replacement utility?

Does anyone have a *BNDDIR library replacement utility? I received a
request from a developer (mostly C code w/ many *BNDDIR entries, pointing
to several libraries) for developing a utility to globally (within a single
*BNDDIR) change the library of a *MODULE or *SRVPGM within the *BNDDIR.
Using *LIBL is problematic, since there are numerous versions of the
development libraries and would be difficult to manage during development.
They are copying / promoting code within the project to different libraries
and systems, hence the requirement.

I would like to avoid reinventing the wheel, if someone has a utility like
this. At the very least, which APIs would handle this task?

TIA.
