I don't know what you consider reasonably priced, so this may be beyond your price range. We have been using Infinium's financials for almost 8 years now and are very happy with them. Theirs are definitely modular, so you can buy only what you need and add to it later if you want. They also run either green screen or browser based. Green screen is the default and there is some additional setup required for the browser based. You don't have to go through that setup until you want to use the browser based. I know they are probably going to tell you that you should go immediately to the browser based, but that is not necessary if you don't want it. We are running the most current version of all of their modules that we use and are still completely green screen. We will probably be enabling the browser based functions some time next year. The real beauty of it is that you don't have to go one way or the other. You can have some users on green screen and some users accessing through a browser. An individual user can even run both if they want - have one (or more) green screen sessions open and also be accessing it through a browser at the same time. I almost forgot. Infinium is now part of SSA Global. For you old-timers, you may also remember them as Software 2000 before the name was changed to Infinium. Thank you, Ronald L. Zimmerman I.T. I am looking for a new package and it must have 5250 support......web based is not an option for us right now and I am not interested in paying for it now in hopes that we MIGHT use it five years down the road. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Douglas If you bought it, it was hauled by a truck - somewhere, sometime.
