I usually use Data Transfer in iSeries Access.

It's pretty easy to set up, especially if you start by sending some data 
from the iSeries to Excel to get the necessary .fdf file defined.

What is the best way to import data from a spreadsheet to iSeries file, 
not using Java, which I do not know?

I thought this had just been discussed, but I can not find it.
