Dave,

As per the IBM Manual, a SLR60 tape should give you 30GB uncompressed, with 4 MB/s transfer rate.

Hope this helps.

Subject: I5 520 9653 tape

I am trying to find information on the 8653 QIC 30 tape drive that comes
with the I5 520. Is this a 30/60 tape drive or a 15/30 gig drive? What is
the transer speed?

It will be used to backup about 26 gig of data.
