Use the iSeries Access emulator or your emulator of choice. Configure it with the IP address of the HMC & port 2300. Select your language (probably 21) and from there you can select your iSeries (in case the HMC is managing >1) and then select your LPAR. I suggest using the Connect Shared option. Also look in to Web-based System Manager or WebSM. That gives you the HMC's GUI on your PC.
