My guess would be that the vendor is completely unaware that SQL tables can be treated as flat files on the iSeries. It seems to me that DTS mostly exists because other DBs cannot do this. For the same reason there is no real need for DTS on the iSeries. Ask the vendor what features of DTS he needs to use and then show how that is handled (with simple CPYF or whatever). Jon Paris
