Sounds like you have a good start... While the feature code is different for the 2746 its the same card as the 4746. Several Features do this. Also You can edit the text in the Description area on the far right. On the 5712 I bet you told the LVT you have V5R2 where the 5712 isn't supported but the 5702 is. I downloaded the latest LPAR Validation Tool and am attempting to configure our system as it is now. I've basically been successful, but I do have a couple of questions. We've got some older feature codes that don't show up as options in the LVT, such as the 2746 Twinax Controller. What I've done is use the 4746 code instead. However, I'd really prefer to have the correct numbers showing up. Is that possible? A related question, how come some newer features, such as the 5712 PCI-X Tape/DASD controller don't show up?
