You probably used a DDM file (CRTDDMF) that pointed to the files on the
production system.  Nothing special needs to be done in the program, except
possibly monitor for file errors since the DDM file may become unavailable
when communications between the two systems is disrupted.

About two year ago I coded a program to use out production data, from our
test box.   The source program is on the test box, but it used the
production data.  Now I don't remember the program.  Do anyone remember what
needs to be coded in the program?
