SQL question

 Hey there! Although my problem is probably  due to some "spaghetti-ing" to get 
the darn thing to work, I am having  an issue with sql deletes and writes.
  
  What it is supposed to do: Delete an existing menu, then write a "new" one in 
its place.
  
  What it does: Writes doubles on an update save.
  
  When I create a new menu, it writes properly (ie: one of each line).  Then I 
can call that menu back up and add or remove items from it. Now  my issue rears 
its ugly head. When I press f24 and use wrkdbf on my  file (which is supposed 
to exsr @deleteMenu then @writeMenu), I see 2  of every line EXCEPT the new one 
I just added.
  
  Short of embarrassing myself by posting my ugly code, are there any  
troubleshooting tips you could send my way...sort of a tricks gleaned  over 
vast years of experience?
