I was a systems programmer on mainframes and the as400 was great compared to 
that.  All aspects of the system can be managed by 1 or 2 folks.  We all the 
mtbf stats and reliability.  
 
Businesses can save $ by using it, even though cost of ownership seems high, we 
know it can run w/less people and that's what finance likes, I guess.  
 
I hope that some of the big names in as400 land respond to that email to put 
the as400's best foot forward...or is it a losing battle?
