Hi Frank

my recollections of administering MQ are that the channels, queues etc should be created via a script; if you have such a script on the test box, you could just re-run it in production. Obviously, naming clashes etc come into it, particularly with the channel configuration but this should be do-able with a bit of planning.

I seem to remember doing just this from an MQ admin console to create AS/400 MQ resources in a job far, far away at a time long, long ago...

Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to save and restore the MQ config of just 1 queue? I have a test and prod LPAR and want to move a newly created queue manager to the prod LPAR. If I could save/restore it I wouldn't have to create it again.
