I copied 5 .pdf files into another copied subdirectory. This subdirectory has many .htm files that are copied successfully by the above command. The .pdf files still failed with the same error. I then remaned them to start with an alpha in this new directory. Still failed. So what I know so far is: 1) It's not because the file name begins with a numeric. 2) It's not because there is stuff like "/03/" in the path. 3) It's not an authority issue. But that still leaves the CCSID issue. Is there a way to change the CCSID of an IFS file?
