I have been devoted to IBM midrange systems for 30 years but I'm now
looking in other directions. I'm scheduled for a Solutions Assessment
in the next couple of weeks and I expect that exercise to be a
watershed.

Is Solutions Assessment something you do with IBM? We held a number of
teleconferences with folks in Rochester. I wasn't involved, but received a
report that developers in Rochester suggested looking into WDSC, Rational
developer tools, and Java Server Faces. I'd be interested in hearing how your
Solutions Assessment goes, and hope it will encourage you to stick with the
iSeries.
