You can do it fairly easily with a filter in WDSC, but I think you would need to roll your own (DSPOBJD to get a list of files, iterate DSPFD *MBRLIST to get a list of member) from green screen. I don't know if the SQL files (QSYS2/SYS*) would have member information, but if so, that would be a handy place to do this type of search. > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: searching for members > From: Yivi <nardus@xxxxxxxxx> > Date: Fri, January 13, 2006 2:52 am > To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > > Ok, newbie time. > > It must be a terribly basic question, but can't seem to phrase the question > in a way that makes google give me the proper answer. > > How do you get a list of all the members that contain a particular search > pattern, looking across different libraries and archives? > > Thx for any help you can provide. > > Regards, > > I.- > -- > This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list > To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l > or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
