Folks: I am working on a project where a MS/SQL database must be populated by an iSeries DB/2 database. In order to facilitate doing it we are going to build a store and forward repository in DB/2 and then forward to the MS/SQL server database. Simple right? Problem is the OEM vendor for the MS/SQL based product used a nonstandard collating sequence so we have to match it up on DB/2 in order to not completely mess up the MS/SQL data when we push it down there. We plan to try and use DataMirror Transformation Services to move the data from DB/2 to the MS/SQL server. The collation sequence I am told is used by the MS/SQL is: Latin1-General, binary sort for Unicode Data, SQL Server Sort Order 40 on Code Page 850 for non-Unicode Data Any one have a clue about what codepage etc we use in DB/2 to duplicate this database? Will the DataMirror software deal with the code page issues for me? Thanks. Jim Oberholtzer
