The new userid that shows in the OUTQ is JDE_FAX.  This is what I expected
to see when it arrived on the Windows side.  The original ID was my
personal AS/400 profile.

I am enrolled in the distribution directory, and the new ID is not.  I saw
some entries in the archives here about that, but the 'final' posting was
that being in the directory should not be needed.

I may try adding the new ID there just for grins.
