And it will come in a 2x2x2' box with lots of bubble wrap and a smaller
box inside.  You'll spend an hour reading through the packing slips and
installation instructions trying to figure out what you got. (Or didn't
get!)  This happened to us once when our CE upgraded a tape drive.  I
finally figured out that what we had received was a new sticker to put
on the drive, but I guess that the packing rules said that if the
product was a tape drive it gets shipped in a tape drive box.

I think a FSP reset would cause the loss of all config stuff.
The battery trick just involved slipping a piece of paper under the
battery(to break the contact)

I'm waiting for them to ship a small piece of paper with some sort of EC
number assigned
