RE: LMHOSTS file

 When I install CA on PCs on the company WAN I add a path to the iSeries &
directory shown below and just click the SETUP.EXE icon.  However I too work
from home over the company VPN and can't do it from there.  Security on the
VPN blocks my access.  I suggest you check with your network group.

with an answer to your last question about installing it another way. Just
copy this directory from your iSeries to your windows system and run
setup.exe. In the IFS: \qibm\proddata\access\windows\install\image
