Also, you can do a restricted state with the HMC just fine. It's actually a superior solution since it gives you remote capabilities. Really, between the HMC's remote console, Web-based System Manager, the RMU on our 3582 tape library, virtual optical support, and Window's remote desktop for the IxS cards, I barely have to physically visit at all. Just have an operator swap tapes as needed.
