for example, to find all fields that may be credit cards, run the following:

select system_table_schema, system_table_name,
    system_column_name, column_text, data_type,
    length, numeric_scale, numeric_precision
  from qsys2.syscolumns
  where system_table_schema not like 'Q%'
    and (lower(column_text) like '%credit%'
    or lower(column_text)like '%card%'

There is a system table that keeps track of all of the fields across the
entire system.  For neither love nor money (both of which are in short
supply here) can I remember its name.  Anyone recall its name?  It
starts with a 'Q' if that helps. =-O
