Hi Rob -

I have a CL program that mimics GO SAVE - 21.  I'd like to prompt up on
the display the command in use but I don't want to wait for user input.
How do I do that?

If you want to display a message at the bottom of the screen like varioussystem functions do (e.g. OPNQRYF), just use SNDPGMMSG to send a *STATUSmessage to the *EXT message queue.
