I believe RJS Software will do this and is totally a 400-based product. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Lopez, Andrew Sent: Thursday, February 16, 2006 8:12 AM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Bursting Spool Files/Emailing as PDFs We have been using Gumbo's Spoolmail and Report Manager to do this. Management now wants us to handle a large number of reports, emailing to an address listed in the spool file itself. Gumbo can do this with the use of exit programs, but I've been asked to find a solution that supports this "out of the box". My prior notes on the subject have Octo Tools as a non-iSeries solution (it supports the AS/400, but runs on a Windows box). Are there any solutions other than IBM's Infoprint that run on the iSeries? They will have to be capable of bursting the spool files and sending out the pages to an email listed on the documents without the use of directory entries. Thanks for any pointers in the right direction. -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l. ______________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned by the MessageLabs Email Security System.
