Dave McKenzie's RTVCMDSRC is what I use.  I had to minorily tweak it to 
get it to work on V5R4.  I had an off list message asking me if I was 
using "the QCDRCMDD (Retrieve Command Definition) API and parse the XML 
document the API returns".  But that's not what is being used.

The tweak was "because MI program RTVCMDM cannot handle programs of 
commands that are *SYSTEM state programs."  So we had to revert it back to 
DMPOBJ because V5R4 really jumped on the system state bandwagon.  Due to 
Dave's fine work where, and how, to tweak was quite apparent.
