Brush up on the latest technologies that they use, may soon use, or may 
enlighten them (like RPGLE vs RPG, some web capability, etc).

Familiarize yourself with their shop:

Technically:
- run the RTVDSKINF and the PRTDSKINF *SYS 
- WRKLIB *ALL and study that
- Familiarize yourself with their software development methodology, change 
management tool, source/object libraries, etc.
- Make sure your PC has the latest version of iSeries Access for Windows, 
WDSC, Windows service packs, latest versions of other software.
- Find out what version of i5/os they are running.

Socially
- Have lunch with a different person every day.
- Tour each plant
- Get to know the various departments

Find out if they have their project list stored somewhere, like in 
QuickPlace.  See how you may be an asset to them.  Wasn't any of that 
discussed during the interview?
