Come to think of it... 100K orders in a day isn't that many. If my numbers are correct, that's only about one a second. Hell, entire stadiums sell out in minutes. That's a lot more than one a second. So by their own admission, MS can't handle large-scale order entry. Good to know. Except for brilliantly coded, usually single-purpose sites (the Googles of the world), server farms don't scale to enterprise level. Joe
