When I got my shiny new 520 I had a similar problem. It wouldn't come up because it was looking for a ops console. I'm a dinosaur, and you can pry my green screen from my cold dead fingers. So - I wanted a twinax console. Boulder walked me through a bunch of button pushing on the front panel to tell the box that it's supposed to use twinax instead of Ops Console. I don't recall the sequence, but if you call Boulder they should be able to help. Sorry I didn't see this message earlier. ******************************************************** Go... FASTER! I received this doing both an automatic and manual install. Researching this, I find references to the system cannot find Operations Console, which is odd in that this system has a twin-ax console. I see a PTF out there to correct this ...but .. I havent loaded the OS yet. I see a circumvention to remove a RS232 cable from the default ECS port, but I have no RS232 cable attached at all. So.. how do I get past this error ? If anyone has any suggestions, I would be most appreciative. --------------------------------- Yahoo!
