Not last I knew.  Originally, read triggers did not allow you to access the
buffer and change it ahead of the buffer being passed on, in the same way
that *BEFORE with *ALWREPCHG could with insert or update triggers.

Has this changed?  I'm still at V5R2 so may have missed the ability to do
that with a newer release.  I'd sure welcome the opportunity to do this as
there are certainly scenarios where that could be useful.
