The command looks good to me.

Example:
RST DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP01.DEVD') OBJ(('/MyDirectory'))

Are you sure the IFS folder was saved to the tape currently in drive TAP02?

Subject: Restoring an item to the IFS

How does one go about restoring a folder to the IFS from a SAVSYS? Somebody
in the company wants to retrieve a folder from an old iSeries machine that
the company used to run. I have a SAVSYS from the old machine across
multiple tapes available to me. I am trying to restore just a folder called
EDI. The folder currently does not reside in the IFS. I tried the
following command

RST DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP02.DEVD') OBJ(('/EDI'))

After much a great deal of activity and time I get the following error(s)

File not selected. File label or file name mismatch for file XXXXXXXX.

The XXXXXXXX is the name of the library/object on the tape. I get this
message for every Data File Label on the tape. First off is the above
command correct? If so what Data File Label am I looking for so I know
which tape to put in the drive?
