Last week I posted pretty much the same question. Scan this thread message
history for the topic "Restoring an item to the IFS". At the end of the
tape there should be a file label called SAVYYYYMMDD where the YYYYMMDD is
the date of the IFS save.

RST DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP02.DEVD') OBJ(('/IFSFOLDER')) LABEL(SAVYYYYMMDD)
SEQNBR(NN)

Subject: Where is my IFS file on tape?

OK I don't know why I never needed to know this before but....

I have backed up some IFS files with SAV, about 150GB worth. Worked
great. Now I want to restore one of them from tape. In the Object world
I do DSPOBJD and can see date, time and volume name of the last time it
was backed up. How do I get that information for an IFS file???

Option 8 in WRKLNK doesn't show it.
Properties in iNav don't show it.

 System is V5R3 i5.

   Help?
