We have a RUNRMTCMD iSeries-to-iSeries that is being called over and over (to call CLP program) and keeps adding to the print file (RPG PGM generates spool) but if it is ran interactive/batch locally on the local iSeries the spool file populates properly. I know this is very vague. My question is, does anyone know of REXEC behavior (bugs/PTFS) that causes cleanup not to be performed when reusing .same REXEC jobstream? It seems that a shared library is being used for SPOOL "in some manner" that we have not explicitly forced cleanup/resource reclamation on? There are some other tricky (3rd party) parts of the CL that I am not sure work well over REXEC, such as simple commands of ADDLIBLE, ADDLFM, RTVDTAARA, OVRDBF, OPNQRYF.
