On the 520, and on the 570, there is a cable that comes out of the system unit, port "T1-HMC1" to the switch. Neither HMC, or "T1-HMC1", are on a "private lan". This switch then leads to our intranet. And to all our HMC's, workstations, etc. Rob Berendt
