Just to counter some of the more bizarre comments made by the usual suspects prophesying the end of the iSeries, here's a little news: 2005 marked the largest revenue growth for the iSeries in a decade. Combine that with the announcement of a native VoIP solution for the iSeries (the first new market segment for the iSeries in a little while) and the introduction of a supported PHP port (the first new language since Java) and it's pretty clear that the iSeries is THE hot segment for IBM.
