There is an easy way to do this - always has been. On this page, the fixes support page,

http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/support/iseries/fixes/orderfix.html

there is a link for ordering on media

http://www-912.ibm.com/supporthome.nsf/document/23801211

which is, IIRC, the Boulder, CO, fulfillment center. You need to be in the US and have a support contract. You can select lists of individual fixes or CUMES. You get to say the shipping priority, etc. All on one page - lovely.

8-10 years ago (before CDs) I used this facility to send fixes to a dozen different company sites - IBM did it all - no copy tapes to different formats and then mail 'm out.

It works according to phases of moon in my experience. IBM should have
provided easy way to order CUMM CDs without going thru Fix Central.

Anyone able to download a ptf using this abomination this week? Heck, I
couldn't get it to work last week. Currently I am trying to order a cume.
I am stuck on the "Detecting your Java Virtual Machine" screen. On hold
with IBM now...
