For FTP though it's really mute, you get the same amount of stuff either way and the smaller images get you better granularity for the downloads. Clearly it would be nice for those who still use plastic disks for PTFs to have DVDs because that would likely mean one disk for every PTF for at least the first year or 18 months of a release.... CD media (should be DVD!
