(this is a better definition than what I wrote in previous posts).
I am assuming others are receiving pdf files that need to be processed.

Receiving a 1,000 page pdf file containing text and images. Each page relates
to an invoice. The index contains a unique code for each page that I need to
extract.
Each page needs to be split into a separate pdf file, with file name related to
that unique code.
Each file is password protected (and is labelled "customer key for decrypting").
Inside file, is labelled PDF-1.4 (although I prob need to support later
versions)
Would like to split this file and move individual pdf files to their proper
directory in a
batch process to execute when file downloaded via ftp.
I have not found any rpgle code (yet) to do this split, although if I knew what
to look for, it
would seem Scott Klement's sample programs would possibly work.
I have found java tools on Source-Forge that may work, but not familiar with
java.
Found some unix tools, but could not process encrypted file.
Many interactive windows products, but hoping not to go there (although this
may become
an interactive process once a week to split this file).
