Yes. I will admit that it is very odd.

The reload is what I am attempting to do now. I am IPL'ing from "D", Manual with the Base CD in the drive. It churns away for a while and then I get the A600 5001 SRC. The diagnostics I found at the Infocenter says "Install the wrap plug on the IOA. The 2745 wrap plug label is QQ". This is used to perform a diagnostic on the card itself, I think. Seems to me that that these wrap plugs were, at one time, included but I haven't been able to locate one. Perhaps my memory is faulty on this.

I don't recall changing the settings (since I am the only one using this system) and the fact that I get the SRC when loading from CD tells me that it may be the card. I would just like to make sure that that is the case so I am not chasing my tail on this.

More research work to be done. I'll also start looking for a card.

That is a rather "odd" error SRC

This would appear to be your problem:

If you have a decent backup, you might consider a complete reload...

Somebody has been screwing around with the setting....

Right now I can't get to an interactive session. Something is preventing Telnet from starting so the console now is my only hope. The only SRC I see is either A900 2000 or A600 5001 both of which (I think) are pointing to a need for a console.
