You can use the OCL substation parameter ?WS? with the CL STRS36PRC PRC(S36OCL) and maybe pass it back in the LDA. It's a lot of work but it will work. I have not done any S36 coding in a while and I don't have any sample code to look at or share as where I work now is strictly all native iSeries code. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Charles St-Laurent Sent: Friday, April 07, 2006 2:00 PM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: how to get s/36 workstation id from a CLP? Hi! I wonder if it is possible to get the S/36 workstation ID (for example RQ) from within a CLP. It seems that RTVJOBA doesn't return this value. So how can I get this value directly from a CLP? Thanks in advance for your answers Charles St-Laurent
