No one at a Tech Conf will ever tell you that a "release sucks". But I know someone at COMMON that will tell you the truth! Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@midra nge.com> I've been to both Common and the Tech Conference many times. I prefer the Tech Conference. I feel it's had more detail in the sessions. This has changed a bit now that Common's sessions are longer then 50 minutes and attendance is down. Downside is you get the IBM only side of the world. If you looking at third party solution or presentation Common is the better option. I always inform my managers and IT architects they should attend Common. Just my opinions. Howdy group. I was unable to attend the recent Common conference because of moving into a new house, but I will be able to attend the upcoming IBM Tech conference. I wanted to get a feel for the feelings of this mailing list on what they prefer and why. Please comment. I just don't want to waste money on going to the IBM conference if I would be better served by waiting for the next Common!
