I agree Jerry, as I do use WDSCi, ILE, Embedded SQL and now CGIDEV2 with 
Ajax etc... and I don't capitulate to using legacy to describe our system 
i.  I too defend it as the best box on the planet bar none.

My point (and it was intended with a bit of humor) was that when we find 
ourselves explaining why we aren't a legacy system, perhaps we should 
correct them with the term vintage, and then explain why vintage is good, 
(and with humor). 

Regardless of what we call it we still have to defend and explain what it 
is and does to those who don't know any better.
