Do you have Telnet on your iSeries set up to require SSL?

A bit of additional information...

I can see my IP address connect to the Iseries in question using the
NETSTAT command, but I never get a login screen. What am I missing??

Subject: Telnet from a PC to Iseries

One of our network guys came to me with a problem trying to open a
telnet session to one of our Iseries boxes. He is tying to run the
TELNET command from a dos prompt on a PC. He can get to each of our
Iseries boxes with the exception of one. I tried to run telnet from my
machine and couldn't do it. I signed on to another Iseries box and
tried to Telnet from there to this box and was successful. I can open a
Client Access session to this box, but I cannot connect using the TELNET
command from a DOS prompt.

Telnet server is running and is listening on Port 23. Is there
something else I should check to see why I can't use the TELNET command
to this box from my PC??
