You can ADDWSE WRKSTNTYPE(*ALL) to your interactive
subsystem to allocate all sessions to that subsystem.

I got it. It seems I was connecting but I just wasn't getting sign on

Does anyone know how to disable having to add work station entries to
the subsystem??

This seems to have something to do with TN5250 vs. VT100 Telnet. The DOS
telnet is a simple VT-emulation, whereas the Telnet in the iSeries is
TN5250.
