We have solved our problem. Code39 barcode for the enter key is *$M*. What we also had to do is "Enable Code39 Full ASCII" on the scanner and "Enable Function Key Mapping" on the scanner. It was the combination of these "Enable..." Commands that appears to have done the trick. Dave -----Original Message----- We are trying to generate a printed barcode so when a Symbol LS3478 laser scanner reads the bar code, the PC running Client Access will think the Enter Key has been pressed. We are not looking for the auto record advance. The users want a separate barcode that represents the Enter key. We have been looking for the correct code to put into the barcode, but have not been able to figure it out yet.
