I put in a vote for the Barracuda device. We just installed it a few weeks ago and it has been taking out 60-80% or the SPAM we were getting before it hits our internal mail server. There's also another device called MailFoundry which was my second choice, but how can I ignore the device that I see on the wall at every airport. Make sure to try the free eval to see if it meets your needs. If we could all make such a killing on building a little pizza box :-) Regards, Richard Schoen RJS Software Systems Inc. It is hard to find a more affordable solution, and it has worked very well for us. It sits in front of our mail server, so it does not care what platform that is. The unit consistently blocks about 60% of our incoming mail with no false positives that we are aware of. I think the third party solutions probably do a better job with viruses, we run another gateway product for virus scanning as well. However, if your primary interest is spam, I would at least look at them. I have no connection to the company, other than being a satisfied customer. Jim Reinardy, Badger Meter, Inc.
